Global Challenge
When scientist said that the global temperature was rising, there were many that opposed the theory by saying that it’s a regular cycle of the earth and that the increase in the temperature of the earth is a part of the earth’s cycle and it has nothing to do with our fossil fuel burning lifestyle. Thankfully that notion is passing away. Many now believe that there has been an increase in the global temperatures and the ice in the poles are melting giving rise to the sea levels, posing a mega natural destruction and threatening the very existence of our species.
Many people think that global warming is all about the melting ice and the rising sea levels, but is not just about that. It’s also about a global temperature that we are getting into where thousands of harmful bacteria and germs thrive. It’s about getting into a place where thousands if not more number of people can die in an instance due to the outbreak of a deadly sickness or plague.
We need some core techincal solutions to deal with this issue, not just using energy saving bulbs or using shower instead of taking a bath. Yes, little by little we can make a difference, but I believe the time for doing the good things little by little is over, simply because we don’t harm the earth just a little bit, but a whole lot more on a daily basis. People who live far away from the coastline should not think that it’s not going to affect them. It’s going to affect everyone for sure if we don’t make a serious change.
